Amazon Prime Big Deal Days is a massive Prime Day-level sale that happens in October. Unofficially known as October Prime Day, Amazon held last year’s Prime Big Deal Days sale on Tuesday, October 10 and Wednesday, October 11. The exclusive shopping event boasts rare deals across all categories and offers Prime members first dibs at some of the best deals of the holiday season. This year’s event will take place less than two months before Black Friday 2024, making it the perfect time to save on holiday gifts and hosting essentials.
Prime Big Deal Days is coming back this October. Amazon just announced that the massive two-day sale will be held on Tuesday, October 8 and Wednesday, October 9.
Yes! October Prime Day deals are great, in fact, the savings are comparable to Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals. During the Amazon Prime Big Deal Days sale you can expect to see the same caliber savings you’re used to shopping at Amazon’s main Prime Day sale.
You will need an Amazon Prime membership to shop October Prime Day deals. Just like Amazon’s main Prime Day sale held in mid July, the Prime Big Deal Days sale is exclusive to Prime shoppers. If you’re not yet an Amazon Prime member, don’t worry—there’s still plenty of time to sign up. If you act now you can even enjoy a one-month free trial to Prime.
A standard Amazon Prime membership costs $14.99 a month, or $139 annually. If you’re a college student, you can get a six-month free trial before paying $7.49 a month (or $69 annually)—which is 50% off the standard price. Meanwhile, qualifying government assistance recipients can try Prime Access, which is 53% off Prime, at just $6.99 per month after their 30-day free trial.
Similar to Amazon Prime Day 2024 held this past July, the Prime Big Deal Days sale is a two-day shopping event. That means you’ll only have 48 hours to shop the best sales across all categories. After kicking off on Tuesday, October 8, the sale will come to a close at the end of the day on Wednesday, October 9.
It’s time to start thinking about the holidays, because some of the best deals we’re expecting during Amazon Prime Big Deal Days are on holiday gifts, seasonal decor, hosting essentials and kitchen appliances that can tackle your Thanksgiving feasts and beyond. Outside of all those end-of-year purchases, you’ll also be able to find incredible markdowns on popular power tools, viral beauty products, winter fashion, top-selling tech, Amazon devices and more.
